Membership Agreement & Auto-Renewal Terms

Welcome to the membership service provided by Sunlight Calculator (hereinafter referred to as "the App"). Please read this agreement carefully before making a purchase. By purchasing, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to all the following terms.

1. Membership Plans

The App offers the following membership plans. All plans provide identical features and benefits; they differ only in duration:

Membership benefits include but are not limited to: year-round sunshine simulation for any date, 3D heatmap analysis, landscape view simulation, professional report generation and export, and all other premium features. Actual prices are displayed within the App.

2. Auto-Renewal Terms

• Monthly and Yearly plans are auto-renewable subscriptions. They will renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period (if offered) will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

3. Subscription Upgrades & Downgrades

• The Monthly and Yearly plans belong to the same subscription group. Upgrades and downgrades are handled automatically by Apple.
• Upgrade (e.g., Monthly → Yearly): Takes effect immediately. Apple will provide a prorated refund for the remaining time of the previous plan.
• Downgrade (e.g., Yearly → Monthly): Takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You can continue using the current plan until it expires.
• After purchasing the Lifetime plan, please manually cancel any existing auto-renewable subscriptions to avoid duplicate charges.

4. How to Cancel a Subscription

You may cancel your auto-renewable subscription at any time. After cancellation, you can continue to use the service until the end of the current billing period:

• Open iPhone/iPad Settings → Tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → Find Sunlight Calculator → Cancel Subscription
• Or open the App Store → Tap your profile icon → Subscriptions → Find Sunlight Calculator → Cancel Subscription

5. Multi-Device Sharing

Membership benefits can be shared across multiple devices (iPhone, iPad, etc.) signed in with the same Apple ID — no need to purchase again. If you switch devices or reinstall the App, use the "Restore Purchases" feature to recover your membership.

6. Refund Policy

• All purchases are made through Apple's In-App Purchase system. For refunds, please contact Apple Support or visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
• The developer cannot process refunds directly.
• Membership benefits will be revoked after a refund is issued.

7. Disclaimer

• The sunshine simulation results provided by this App are for reference only and shall not be used as a basis for legal decisions, construction approvals, or real estate transactions.
• The accuracy of simulation results is subject to modeling data, geographic precision, and other factors. The developer assumes no responsibility for the absolute accuracy of any simulation results.

8. Privacy Protection

We value your privacy. Membership purchase information is processed through Apple's secure payment system. We do not collect or store your payment account information. For details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

10. Modifications to This Agreement

We reserve the right to modify this agreement at any time. The updated agreement will be published on this page. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
